Tough times continue

This piece is about a couple who is divorcing, has decided to still live in the same house
(because they can’t sell it) and is trying to negotiate spousal support and child support. They’re using mediation to work through these issues, which is great, although they learned that avoiding court doesn’t always mean avoiding conflict. I think there’s some helpful perspective in the piece, although it’s amazing how 18 months of negotiation are collapsed into just a few pages of story. My fingers are crossed that the couple find a buyer soon for the house!
